So Long, ANVIL!
After many years of being published and distributed to each home quarterly, the Hammersmith Anvil is no more, having suffered its demise because nobody has stepped up to replace the editor, who has resigned.
Don't look for an Anvil to be delivered after the January meeting. There will not be one.
If you want your Anvil back, and you're willing and able to become the new editor, please let either Peter Feldman or Irenka Douglas know. We'll sign you up, give you a cigar, and train you in the dark arts of Anvil editorship.
On the other hand, if nobody wants the Anvil back as a quarterly newsletter, printed and distributed to each home, it may be resurrected later in 2012 as an online publication - either as a blog or part of this web site. Those without web access will not be able to access it, unfortunately.
PAST ISSUES:The Hammersmith Anvil is the newsletter by and for the residentsof Hammersmith. Published approximaely four time a year, with special editions as needed, the Anvil provides news and information of interest to the community.
